Today I saw Anna's 6-part and I felt my heart strings going off every time I say Norman or Gavin's father speaking. She portrayed them so well, them and their emotions. It was an incredibly emotional synopsis of what had happened here in Crown Heights. She got all the emotions down. If she had interviewed me.. I don't know how I would even begin to describe how I felt.
I wouldn't even know where to start, but it would be something like "For the past few days there has been nothing but riots and chaos. It erupted in a Jew man who hit seven year old black child Gavin. I feel sorry for the family because I can only imagine the pain his parents went through. No parent has to bury their child.. But then, the black community went a stabbed a young innocent Jew scholar. Hate with more hate doesn't make anything better. The Jew that was stabbed had nothing to do with the incidence. He only has his brother and now his brother Norman is on his own and I just feel like there is injustice everywhere. I can only imagine how it is for both families right now, but all these riots and fires will do nothing but cause more pain and trouble."
